I’m D.S. McKnight, but you can call me Deb. I write Young Adult and New Adult Fiction. Some stories have a bit of a paranormal element while others are contemporary. All of my stories have a little romance. Writing gives me the opportunity to listen to the voices inside my head and not have my sanity questioned!
I have enjoyed a varied career—from working as a DJ at a small radio station to working at our family owned marina. Currently, I’m employed at an insurance agency where I daydream about the stories I want to write. (Just kidding! Well, there may be a little daydreaming…)
I’m married, have three sons, and make my home on the North Carolina Coast.
1. Didn’t like Anakin Skywalker but loved Darth Vader.
2. Loves Lindt Chocolate Truffles (Has been known to hide them.)
3. Makes the best New England Clam Chowder.
4. Is afraid of heights but loves to fly.
5. Wants to have her picture taken at Kings Cross Station (Platform 9 3/4).
So u liked the bad guy – that tells me everything I need to know. lol

Hello! Just wanted to say thank you for following me. I have begun to dabble in some writing of my own- I have recently discovered the voices in my head who apparently are here to stay and want their stories told. So thank you, I’m glad that you seem to find my blogging interesting, coming from an author such as yourself that means a lot (although most of my blog is about dance).

While I do follow a lot of other writers, I like variety. I enjoyed reading your posts even though I’m not a dancer. Looking forward to seeing others posts in the future and good luck with your writing!
