Self Published Sunday:
Your novel must be self published to be featured.
This post will feature an excerpt of your novel, cover image, an author bio/pic, your social media links and purchase links. Guest posts/author interviews can also be included.
At this time, I am not accepting any books for review. (Guest posts & author interviews are still welcome.)
I will consider reading/reviewing certain books. I enjoy several genres: Young Adult, Dystopian, Mystery/Suspense and an occasional romance. I don’t read erotica or stories with excessive violence and/or gore. I prefer bad language (the f-word) to be at a minimum. Due to my writing schedule, I am not able to review more than one book a month. If I review your novel, I will post the review on Amazon and my blog. I will share my blog post in G+ communities, Twitter, and my Facebook Author Page.
I realize that opinions vary. For that reason, if I find that I don’t like your book, I will not post a review. Instead, I will contact you via email. If I can’t help you, I certainly will not hurt you.
Contact me with your idea for a guest post.
Want to be interviewed? Here’s your chance. Answer at least five questions – and don’t be afraid to choose some of the more quirky ones! Send me your completed interview and I’ll let you know when it will be posted.
Tell us a little bit about yourself.
Each writer has their own unique process. Tell us about yours.
When it comes to a new novel, what/who usually shows up first? The idea for the story or the characters?
How important are names to you in your books? Do you choose the names based on their meaning or because you like how it sounds? What other things do you consider when naming your characters?
Sometimes, there are people in our lives we just don’t like. Have any of those people shown up in your stories?
Book covers are important. They should catch a potential readers attention. Tell us a little about your cover – Who designed it? Do you think it captures the “feel” of your story? (If you answer this question, please send an image of your cover.)
Thinking about your latest novel: If one of your characters could step off the page and join you for lunch, which would you choose and why?
Everyone dreams but not everyone remembers their dreams. Do you remember your dreams and have they ever inspired a story or a scene in a story?
Your current work in progress – Care to share a couple of sentences?
When it comes to your writing career, where do you see yourself in ten years?
Writers tend to spend a lot of time alone. When it comes to socializing, do you prefer a small group of close friends or large and rowdy party?
Which would you prefer: Hiking/Camping or Dinner/Movie
At the end of your life, when it is all said and done, what would you want your tombstone to read?
Make sure to send your author picture and social media contacts when you return the questionnaire.
Because I’m a writer of Young Adult Fiction, there may be times when under-aged people visit my site. For that reason, I’m unable to feature authors of Erotica or intensely violent novels.
